How it works
From your initial meet and greet through to regular updates while you’re away, we've designed our booking process to be simple, seamless, and completely stress-free from start to finish.
Using our secure pet parent portal, you can manage bookings, view invoices, and keep your cat’s care information up to date. This allows us to spend less time on administration and more time providing attentive, personalised care for your cat while you’re away.
Meet & greet
Book a meet and greet so we can meet you and your cat, learn about their routine, and discuss the care they need.
Confirm your visits
Set up your client account and confirm your booking. A 50% deposit secures your visit dates.
Enjoy your holiday
Relax knowing your cat is being cared for in the comfort of their own home, with regular updates and photos sent throughout your time away.

In more detail
Meet your sitter
Your meet and greet is an opportunity to discuss your cat’s routine and care needs, ask any questions, and show your sitter where food, litter, and other supplies are kept.
Booking confirmation
Once we’ve met you - and been approved by your cat - we’ll send you your booking details and an invoice. Your booking is confirmed once you have completed setup of your client account and we receive your 50% deposit.
Before you go
Before your trip, please check your online pet parent portal to ensure all details are up to date. Please also make sure there are enough food, litter, medication, and cleaning supplies for the full duration of our visits.
While you're away
We’ll care for your cat as if they were our own and keep you updated throughout your time away. Updates and photos are usually sent via WhatsApp, although text or email can also be arranged if preferred.
When you return
If your return is delayed, please let us know so we can continue caring for your cat and home. We also appreciate confirmation once you’re home safely, or if you return earlier than planned.
Key holding
We can securely retain your key for future visits, or arrange key collection or drop-off if preferred. Retained keys are stored safely and securely.
Scritches
Our booking system is powered by Scritches, giving you access to a secure pet parent portal where you can check availability, manage bookings, update your details, and keep your cat’s care information up to date - all in one place.
Required agreements
Our agreement forms help protect both your cat(s) and us while you are away. All new customers of Staycation Cat Care are required to sign these forms.
